I've been in tech for over 15 years, working first as a web programmer, then applications and backend, then infrastructure and systems and now DevOps and specifically cloud infrastructure as my focus.
I've started a company and built a product from the ground up, including CI/CD, trying to automate everything, get clients, stay afloat -- it was fun.
I also have experience with Machine Learning and NLP, got NSF grants to pursue legal text analysis at my company (where I was the main programmer and later the CTO).
I love Cardano! I started investing last summer. I've spun up a node and I'm considering doing a stakepool.
I'm working up to taking the CKAD certification for Kubernetes, already signed up, might have waited but I really like this job. :)
Otherwise, I live on a little 10 acre farm with lots of animals and 2 kids and my wife, and it's super nice -- I'll share baby goat photos, if you're into that sort of stuff.
Lastly, my greatest skill is I can learn pretty much anything, fast, and retain the knowledge. It's helpful in life and work.
Hope this finds you well, and I look forward to working in the Cardano community one way or another.
Working in the automation group, using extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructures (AWS and Azure) and legacy systems (LDAP and Active Directory), I developed automation for the university community and especially on the topic of identity management.
